The tech company Nothing, which is based in London, has now officially announced the release of its upcoming smartphone called Nothing Phone (3a) Lite. The launch is set for Wednesday, October 29th, 1 pm GMT (6:30 pm IST). The event was tweeted out along with the message, “Phone (3a) Lite. 29.10. 13.00 GMT. Light up the everyday.”
The teaser image released by the company shows us a bit of the phone’s design and even brings into focus an LED panel on the back, which, one can assume, is for notifications. However, about the specifics of hardware, software, or billing, Nothing does not reveal anything, but still, a mid-ranger that looks good and offers decent performance is what people expect to come.
Not long ago, a phone indicated with the model number A001T was seen on the Geekbench. The phone according to the listing runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU support. It is expected to have 8GB of RAM and to be running on Android 15 straight from the box. The benchmark scores showed 1003 for single-core and 2925 for multi-core performance which lets the phone be used without any interruption and is mainly targeted to the mid-range smartphone users.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite will most probably be available in colors black and white. According to one of the industry sources the selling price would be an undercut of the original Nothing Phone (3a) which was launched in March 2025 at a price of Rs 22,999 for the version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
With an LED back and midrange processor of the Phone (3a) Lite, it is becoming a budget-friendly alternative yet still having the unique style of Nothing devices. The complete specifications and pricing are the information that tech lovers are eagerly waiting for the launch to reveal.
